Queen Rania is a very young, influencer of Jordan, and she’s dedicated to keeping positive ties with the west. One technique to develop good relations and appeal to today’s younger generations has been the launch of her own YouTube channel.

In her clips, the beautiful queen asks the YouTube community for questions about the Middle East which she then answers through the videos.

“Queen Rania has played a significant role in reaching out to the global community to foster values of tolerance and acceptance, and increase cross-cultural dialogue,” it says on her YouTube page.

“Regionally and internationally, Queen Rania has campaigned for a greater understanding between cultures in such high profile forums as the Jeddah Economic Forum, the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and the Skoll Foundation in the UK.

“We hope to bring you some of these clips soon, but until then, Queen Rania wants you to join in this conversation to bring down stereotypes and build bridges between our virtual East-West communities.”

Also inspirational is that her husband Abdullah II bin Al Hussein (King Hussein) is on the same page as her! Queen Rania has a very caring heart as shown by her involvement with the well-being of women, youth and children.

She is taking a great risk in being so outspoken as a women in the Arab states. I wish her all the best, she is a great role model. I was lucky enought to see her mother-in-law Queen Noor when I visited Petra, Jordan.

Ben, I don't think its a risk at all. Having lived in both Syria and Jordan, women can be just as outspoken as men with no risk or danger. Ofcourse its not total democracy (even men cant be so outspoken in certain issues). Women are pretty much liberal. I guess this is one of the 'misconception' the Queen talks about in the video itself. Not all arab states are conservative. You should know that, since you live in a neighbouring country

It's brave and it's great. I have great respect for her. Just look at the discussion she is igniting between an Israeli and an Arab here on Trendhunter ;) Breaking down walls of prejudices and stereotypes
