 Michael Alvisse’s Giant Foam Building Blocks Based on a Toy Published: Mar 26, 09 Comments: 1 Views: 5,722 The pieces of the ‘Stop Playing With Yourself,’ puzzle furniture are too large to be moved by a single person. Michael Alvisse designed this interactive, modular furniture to facilitate the idea of communal effort. The concept is based on a classic wooden puzzle. The eco-friendly felt upholstered foam elements can be arranged to create a sofa, chair, table, a bed, or simply a soft sculpture.  Green Building Council Australia, which recognises our GECA certified furniture as "eco innovative".
Good Environmental Choice Australia, which has certified 75% of our compact chairs.
The Powerhouse Museum, which has awarded Schamburg + Alvisse the Award for Sustainable Design.
To build a hopeful and healthy future for our families and communities, we make furniture using recycled plastics, low-formaldehyde glues and eco timbers.
