The Pure Skateboard Shelf is Made Entirely Out of Old Skateboard Decks

Skaters will probably think twice about throwing away their snapped decks after seeing the Pure Skateboard Shelf. The Pure Skateboard Shelf was designed by Patrick Drake and is made entirely out of old skateboards. The shelf consists of seven decks and is as eye-catching as it is eco-friendly.

The Pure Skateboard Shelf looks like an accident waiting to happen, but Drake made sure that the shelf wouldn’t shift by tightening its wheels. The designer also reversed the placement of the trucks. This ingenious twist allows the trucks and wheels to serve as bookends. Used or old skate decks often find their way into the trash which is bad as the wood is still good even if it is a little broken. Old/broken skateboard furniture is a great way to add some spice to a home and keep landfills from overfilling.
