Punch in the Face Shiraz Stands Out Against Traditional Packaging

The packaging for the Punch in the Face shiraz was designed to specifically express the taste of the wine.

Designed for the Cactus restaurants of Canada, the wine bottle has a simple black label with the monochromatic image of a fist punching a face. The typography of the bottle is gritty, adding to the overall effect of the photo.

On the reverse side, the label discusses the taste and warns the drinker of its strong flavor. The wine is produced by R Wines in Southern Australia and, according to the bottle, each is "750 mL of Sheer Pleasure."

The Punch in the Face Shiraz wine bottle is a unique way to market and stand out against traditional packaging designs. Stats for Pugilistic Wine Bottles Trending: Older & Chilly
