An enormous glowing tree house build onto a 40-meter high redwood tree. This is an amazing project in itself - but more than just a major architectural achievement: This is an incredible publicity stunt done by Yellow Pages incorporation - just to prove you can get anything done with Yellow. The branding project is a perfect match of Tracey Collins and her team sourcing all products and services through Yellow Pages listings (the book, online and mobile) to get here idea done. And the whole thing can be followed via blogs, live tv streams of the work progress, news and pictures of the project. The Yellow Treehouse is a stunning restaurant, which has been constructed of plantation poplar slats, redwood balustrading milled at the site, and use natural lighting. The construction was created and build by New Zealand based Pacific Environments Architects Ltd. Visit the blog for more info on this amazing cocoon shaped tree restaurant. I am curious as to how you get up there? Maybe they have invented a flying fairy to take you up into this childlike fantasy space.
