From the use of red, white and blue colors to the reinterpretation of 'This Land Is Your Land' that played to set the stage for the Public School Ready-to-Wear collection, this sporty streetwear collection devoted itself to making bold statements on the defiant collective spirit of New York.

Pieces in the Public School fashion collection were boldly emblazoned with messages like "We need leaders," and red baseball caps printed with "Make America New York," reminded of the official Make America Great Again Hats from Trump's campaign for presidency.

With militaristic, camouflage-inspired colors and details, the urban collection subtly brings to mind themes of war, disguises and armor. As Vogue perfectly describes, the pieces in this RTW collection "communicated the feeling of seeking protection in an atmosphere of unease."
