A female illusionist almost drowned trying to escape a tank filled with water on a spoon bender live TV show of Uri Geller. The contestant who is 26 years old was identified as Amila was trying to show her psychic powers by guessing a four-figure code that will enable her to get out her from the tank. Unfortunately, after two attempts, she was only able to guess two correct numbers. Millions of viewers were watching her struggling underwater for 25 seconds as the tank was finally filled to the top. An assistant hurried on the stage with bolt cutters to break into the tank on the German TV show, The Next Uri Geller. Amila was pulled out gasping of air. According to Geller, he really had a bad feeling regarding the stunt Amila did. He said: Luckily somehow I had this instinct to shout out: Get her out of there quickly. It was a horrifying drama. Also according to him, Amila was trying to read the mind of the comedian who knew the exact four-digit codes. Geller said: I felt that there was no harmony between them. Moreover, Geller is asking the producer of the show to let Amila try again next week. I am afraid that if she doesnt do it again she might have a major phobia of this performance. he added. The purpose of Gellers show is to find aspiring illusionists to compete and be Gellers successor. Viewers can call into a poll to vote for the contestant that they want to continue to the next round. Despite her failure to perform the trick last Tuesday, Amila was still voted through to the next round. References: dailymailFiled In: |
