Projeto Atomic is a Collection of Complex Compound Chairs

The form of a chair can be as simple or as complicated as the designer desires, and the Projeto Atomic seats undoubtedly lie within the criteria of the latter.

The pair of chairs comprise of a swing and a bucket seat, and each of them plays with the idea of electron orbits. The structures of the objects are supported by a cluster of metal rings that begin to create a spherical shape in which one can sit. For the floor-bound recliner, these hoops also form the base in place of chair legs, and they allow the seat to be tipped to face in the opposite direction. The swing is suspended by a bunch of cables, and both Projeto Atomic chairs are fitted with transparent orange panels that mold to the bulbous shape of the seats.
