In an effort to prevent gun violence, this Google Chrome plugin removes the names of individuals responsible for mass shootings. Zero Minutes of Fame is part of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Instead of making killers famous and encouraging copycats, the Chrome extension will remove their names from the Internet, allowing you to focus on and honor the victims of such tragedies.

It is no secret that the United States has a massive issue with gun violence. According to the Brady Campaign, 30% of mass killings and 22% of school shootings are inspired by previous gun-related attacks. In an attempt to address this, the initiative (which includes a petition) wants to take away the killers' 15 minutes of fame as media outlets persistently publish not just names, but motives, backstories and their pictures.
