This packaging for the new premium beer Khooms was conceived by Israel Viveros of Mexico. The design is extremely dark, with the main color palette being black.
The main goal of this packaging was to convey that Khooms is a dark, strong and powerful beer. As such Viveros stuck with pure black to convey this strong sense of identity. It also give the bottles an extremely minimalist look, allowing consumers to just focus on its dark coloring. The slight shaded outline of a lion is also seen on the bottle, again contributing to this aesthetic of strong independence, which lions certainly exude. The real question is how this premium beer will do on the international market. Will consumers agree with its strength, or call it out for a weak flavour with overcompensated packaging?
