Prefab Anti-Aging Architecture

Styrofoam Dome Homes|
These adorable little styrofoam pod homes were built by prefab architecture company, Japan Dome House Co. and are not only fabulously designed, but offer a range of positive health benefits. Each styrofoam dome (stryodome?) house is 25 feet wide, and just 13 feet high, with 476 square feet of floor space. People seeking larger living spaces can easily attach additional units, similar to the shipping container homes previously featured on Trend Hunter. Judging by the photos, the Japan Dome Houses are quite cozy. The way the ceilings arch so dramatically gives a sense of being protected by the beam-supported walls. The grouping of styrofoam dome houses, 480 to be exact, seen in the first two images, is a community called the Aso Farm Land resort village. Dome Houses are being erected around Japan not only as residences, but as restaurants, hotels and even animal farms. The Aso Farm resort includes all of these amenities and more. The gallery also features images of a Styrofoam dome steam room, Mushroom House karaoke room at Suijin-no-mori hot spring, Styrofoam dome bar and a variety of interior and exterior shots. To top off the innovative design, the Dome Houses are also incredible beneficial to health. Its antioxidant solutions not only boost resident health, but support the health of the global environment as well. Japan Dome House claims their antioxidant innovations can cure ailments like asthma, rhinitis and reduce chemical sensitivity. It also preserves fresh produce, deodorizes and keeps pests at bay. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, they say it not only fights sickness, but it prevents aging as well! Source: i-domehouse Via: pinktentacle |
