Miuccia Prada may have had heavy fabrics on her mind when fathoming the menswear show space, but for the Prada Fall 2014 Menswear Collection, all motifs of heavy weight are rejected and embraces as little as a whisper of silk or a slip of worsted wool.

Featherweight fabrics are paired with slim men, creating silhouettes rooted in the 1940s, but fluffed up with the sassiness of the 1970s. Leisure suits are broken down into four-pocket military jackets or extra-long suit jackets cut to the knee and paired with wide-legged pants with skinny jogging stripes.

Fluffy coyote fur coats and stoles add a retro air, and that goes without mentioning the glamorous touch of tinted shades. There's a tad bit of humor laced throughout, bringing the 70s suit into the 21st century.
