“Brachia” is a new Croatian premium brand of olive oil from the island of Brac. The hand-made, white-coated ceramic bottle is shaped as an olive fruit, while the neck is modelled as an olive branch. A, as olive leaf, designed pendant printed on uncoated mat paper, with the brand name in embossed polish technique is attached to the bottle’s neck. Along with the ceramic packaging comes a metal funnel/cap, to be used after removing the original wooden cap.
“Brachia Olive” (Brachium meaning the arm, brachia being the plural) is an eye-catching packaging quite different from the usual bottles of olive oil. It presents a unique and well balanced connection between traditional and modern lifestyles, respecting the natural characteristics of the product from which it is made, and it is certainly attractive as a present or a souvenir.
