'Plantie Plant' is a potted plant that takes selfies based on its mood or the current weather. The plant was created by the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design as part of 'The Secret Life of Objects' exhibit. The project is called 'The Selfie Plant' and it explores how selfie culture impacts the natural environment.

The clever potted plant features a tiny camera that swivels and allows it to snap selfies. The plant takes pictures according to its mood, the weather or based on occasion. The plant then uses python script to share its selfies on Facebook.

While the project may seem unusual, the goal is to examine how our modern technology impacts the natural environment. The developers of the plant hope that the project can ultimately serve as a bridge between humans and nature.
