Post-Partum Depression Affecting More Women... Even Britney Spears Edit

Latest reports indicate that Britney Spears may not be an out-of-control party animal. Doctors are suggesting that she make in fact be struggling with Post-Partum Depression… a malady that afflicts many women following childbirth.

Although Britney is checked into a rehab centre, her substance abuse problems seem to be secondary to her PPD difficulties, adding her name to the long list of women plagued by this increasingly common form of depression.

Apparently, Britney is taking comfort from reading Brooke Shield’s own personal account of her struggle with Post-Partum Depression… another indication of just how common this problem really is.
