The Popular De Lujo website is devoted to the popular culture of Bogota, Colombia. The project was created by Juan Esteban Duque, Roxana Martínez and Esteban Ucrós and shows how a 468 year-old, ten million people city, breathes through its walls, churches, stores, and plazas, where several cultures try to survive in a real urban jungle. Violence, faith, hope and joy are expressed in ways you can’t imagine, providing a real sneak peek into ‘kitschy’ Bogota.
