Pop-up WorkSpaces - SpareSpace Mobile Offices

Dutch Creative Agency Nieuwe Garde, has come up with its innovative SpareSpace Foundation which transforms empty shop- and office buildings into mobile offices for copywriters, designers, artists and other young creative professionals. Using specially designed crate furniture by designer Jack Brandsma, SpareSpace gives substance to the term Mobile Office. Work spaces can be folded into crates and transported in no time. Sparespace provides each empty space with seven mobile units which consist of four desks, a meeting table, a bar and a fold-out wall. When the space is let out or sold, the furniture is packed up and relocated to a new building. Rental fees are EUR 150 per month to cover water and electric charges.

SpareSpace is geting a positive outcome for real estate owners since unused space is given a representative goal.
