Poland 'Come and Complain' Gripes About the Olympics

The Poland 'Come and Complain' campaign indulges in "constructive complaining" and pokes fun at the features that might entice foreigners to the country. The campaign was introduced last year, centered around the idea that Polish people are best known for their ability to complain.

Now, Come and Complain is keeping the complaints coming for the Winter Games, stating that their only hope lies with cross country skier Justyna Kowalczyk. In truth, Kowalczyk has won one of Poland’s two gold medals so far.

The ads are humorous and work so well because as critical as Poland may be of itself, foreigners recognize it as an above-average nation and know that this campaign is really underselling such a beautiful place to visit. Stats for Downplayed Destination Campaigns (UPDATED) Trending: Older & Warm
