Currently in its crowdfunding phase on Kickstarter, the 'SOWA CHAIR' strives to be the world's first pocket-sized chair. The SOWA CHAIR is a comfortable, black strap with enough elasticity to allow for sitting comfort. The way the chair is used is by sitting down with your knees up in front of you and placing the strap around your back and knees. The strap then balances and supports your weight to make sitting easy in any situation without a sitting solution.
The concept for the SOWA CHAIR was discovered in Ancient Indian artworks depicting people sitting on the floor while using a similar device. Following this discovery, Jake, the founder of the SOWA CHAIR, noted that there are no modern devices that fill this industry niche.
The SOWA CHAIR is currently available for pre-order in five different quantities from 1 to 50, and four different sizes from S to XL. The chair is currently anticipated to be released in February 2022.
