'Pocket Avatars' allows you to personify your SMS messages. While there are plenty of emoticons to help you with that, they just don't seem to get the point across sometimes. This app transforms your body language into a mimicking character of your preference to help you get your emotions across effectively and more importantly, accurately.

Made by Intel, the iOS and Android-friendly app takes advantage of frontal cameras and captures your facial expressions and voice when you respond to a text. It then applies them to a silly character to make chatting more fun and personable.

The app contains about 40 different avatars, which includes Care Bears, LEGO characters, cartoon fish and even Barack Obama. Some are free, while others cost only 99 cents and can be sent on social media in addition to SMS.
