At the size of a thermos, the 'AirCast' design concept is a portable pneumatic cast that can go virtually anywhere. Cased in brushed aluminum and equipped with quick-releasing loops, the pneumatic cast can attach to a bicycle during long expeditions where falls might be on the horizon, so mountain bikers take note.

Aside from AirCast's mobility, it is also quick to deploy and simple to use. Whereas traditional gauze wraps take ages to outfit and provide little support and plaster casts require visiting a hospital, AirCast applies pneumatic pressure to fractures immediately and can be implemented without any training. The pneumatic cast wraps around fibular, tibial, humeral or ulnar fractures as easily as a compression sleeve.
