This webbed ‘Mensa’ table by Liam Hopkins and Richard Sweeney of Lazerian looks like mesh from afar, but it’s actually made of plywood. The Lazerian ‘Mensa’ table is part of a series that will include a dining table, end table and coffee table.

The curvature of the plywood base reminds me of a basketball net, although Lazerian’s design is far more stable. The UK design firm is currently taking pre-orders for the ‘Mensa’ tables on their website.
