Apple Music is offering a more personalized way for its consumers to listen to music with a curated playlist subscription section added to the online streaming platform. The service, called 'For You,' analyzes the user's listening history to pre-select songs, artists and genres that it believes the consumer will be instantly attracted to. This is an attempt by the brand to offer content that is much more tailored to each individual listener.

The 'For You' section of Apple Music is exclusively playlist-based that allows users to discover new music on a daily basis. The service tracks usage and interaction, creating playlists specific to each listener by monitoring previous tracks listened to and artists. The playlists then offer similar sounding new artists and songs to help users discover new music.
