Ringo Starr’s hands were the model for this $36,000 chess set. This chess set was designed by artist and musician Klaus Voormann. Voorman is also a record producer and has had a long relationship with the Beatles. He designed an album cover for them, and was once bassist for Manfred Mann.

British jeweler Asprey had this set made and plated with pure silver and gold. The set will be duplicated for $36,000 per set.
