I need to confess that I love bizarre culture ;-),  I guess because it´s a real expresion of popular art and always surprise me with the controversial end. Pink Box is a collection of stories and images compiled by US lawyer Joan Sinclair in the underground sex clubs in Japan, and consists of a number of intimate and bizarre images from some of the “hot” areas of the fuzoku, or Japanese sex industry. Loaded with interesting stories and amazing photos

What does the title, PINK BOX, actually mean? In Japan, pink is the euphemism for commercial sex the way red is in the US, as in “red light district.” And “Pink Box” is the name of a private dancer’s room in the back of a famous Osaka club. I took a photo of two girls bathed in pink light in this private room. It was so beautiful, and it gave me the perfect working title. (pinkboxjapan)
