Pimp My Doll Art Exhibition
[Edit]
You can understand everything about a generation by the toys they will play with. However, the newest rage in plush toys is to purchase customized expensive designer dolls. Now you know.
Presented by Papier.Machine and the Pébroc Shop (Nantes), the Pimp my Dolls exhibition wants to be a testimony of a still young artistic movement but which arouses an international interest.
Dolls, new toys for adults, replaced the travel souvenirs and the Starck press-orange in the fancy cottages of the hyppiest people around the globe at the point to become an object of collection, of fetishism. You said Sex-Doll?
Anyway, young artists found a new playground for their experiments by creating toys and dolls directly inspired by their world with 2 pieces of fabrics and the sewing machine of their grandmother… for the greatest pleasure of the adults who regret their teddy bear burnt by their mother the day of their 14 years.
