Does Your Wrist Hurt Yet?

When MTV featured Trend Hunter, the crowd favourite trend was the pierced glasses that we featured last summer.  Well, now there’s something that blows pierced glasses out of the water: a pierced watch.  The pierced watch is created with a surface piercing under the skin that holds the watch.  The piercing was created by Peter and Brad at Central Body Art in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Personally, products like this score high points with me for their novelty factor and ingenuity, but strike out on a practical level. I'm a clumsy guy and I lose things easily. A watch without a strap is an invitation to disaster. I'd love to own one to show off to my friends and family, though. That's where the pierced watch's concept strikes gold with me.
