Some people don't have the luxury of enjoying the outdoors due to winter, so the picNYC Table is one of those few items that brings a bit of summer to those living in colder climates.

According to creators Haiko Cornelissen Architecten, the picNYC Table aims to bring "rural picnic into the urban residence." The main frame is constructed from sturdy aluminum for durability, but of course, the main attraction is the surface. The counter itself is filled with actual grass, soil and stones. It's basically a garden on the table and owners can plant flowers, herbs and even vegetables on it. Taking care of it will be extra work, but it's worth it during the colder months when enjoying grassy outdoors isn't an option. Stats for Vegetated Dining Counters Trending: Older & Average
