In stumbling upon New York artist Andy Golub’s website and viewing his body art gallery, I was struck by his exceptional, surreal images painted on real women.

The large, distorted facial features makes me assume that Golub’s work is heavily influenced by Pablo Picasso. However, Golub’s art is unique in its own right because the human body is used as the canvas on which to create extraordinary masterpieces.

I love how Golub incorporated two body painting trends we’ve seen lately: body-painting heavy people, and making a body-paint collage by using more than one subject.
