This is my idea of a city guide: Mr Means took his camera out to the erm… more ‘lively’ aspects of the New York scene, and the resulting photographs are truly brilliant.

Not only are the images drenched in more glitter than your average sugar plum fairy, but they are also really strong portraits in their own right. These photographs capture the attitude and style of the scene, without giving too much away.
