Quite a bit of damage has already been done to our planet thanks to the environmentally damaging practices of humans. The PH Conditioner Skyscraper was conceived as a potential remedy to the major problem of acidic substances' collection amidst the clouds.
For the Evolo Skyscraper Design Competition, Hao Tian, Shi Jianwei and Huang Haiyang have proposed a these futuristic jellyfish-like structures. They would comprise transparent aerocyst sacs filled with hydrogen, levitating up to 1000 feet above the ground.
The porous membrane that envelopes the balloons would absorb harmful chemicals and neutralize them inside. Functioning as a purifier, the PH Conditioner Skyscraper could break down all materials into a reclaimed water source and ammonium salt fertilizer that could be sent down to the earth by tentacle pipelines.
