In technical rock climbing, every ounce is essential, and the Petzl Sitta climbing harness is designed with that precept at the fore. The lightweight, functional climbing harness uses Petzl's own Wireframe Technology to ensure as minimal a design as possible while still being sturdy, safe, and comfortable.

The Wireframe Technology features a patented material caled Spectra. This material provides "optimal load distribution without the use of foam," according to Petzl's website. Spectra strands are located in the waistbelt and along the leg loops of the harness, and they contribute to its impressively low weight (270 grams for the small and medium harnesses, 300 grams for the large harness.)

Further, the Petzl Sitta is designed without any through stitching, which in turn eliminates chafing points and gives a greater range of motion.
