Architect Peter Yeadon has created some seriously obedient luggage. "Fido" luggage comes equipped with laser sensors that keep it from bumping into things and is voice activated for further commands.

The "Fido" luggage is also rechargeable, making for pain-free and reliable luggage--assuming you can get your leashed luggage through security.

Implications - Luggage is a perennial necessity for travelers, and designers are increasingly creating suitcases that will ease the physical burden. Some designs achieve this feat by using wheels and levers, but tech-savvy designs that move autonomously also pose promise. Automated luggage especially appeals to travelers with young families, who must keep youngsters in tow while navigating from gate to gate. Stats for Robotic Baggage Trending: Older & Mild
