Nasty Kitchen Gadgets - The Peter Petrie Egg Separator (GALLERY)

The Peter Petrie Egg Separator, as pictured here, is simple, creative, tacky and fun. 

The ceramic container includes a handsome face, whose nasal filtration system works to separate egg yolks from whites.  Unfortunately, the this process shares the appearance of someone having an unsually large amount of phlegm oozin out of their nostrils. 

Having said this though, the Peter Petrie kitchen gadget could be one way to entice children into helping out in the kitchen.
