Political Power of Positivity [Edit]

With the 2008 presidential election pushing every envelope when it comes to the bizarre, the extreme and the strange, it comes as no surprise that Peruvian Shamans gathered on October 29th to send some positive energy Obama’s way, while clearing casting out John McCain.

If you can get past the Myan mythological ambiance of the skulls and chanting, what you begin to realize is that the people are speaking out from all corners of the world, in support of Barack Obama.  They are not alone. Three fine gentlemen from Iceland--including Trend Hunter’s own Hjörtur Smárason--are hosting the website iftheworldcouldvote.com.  The result?  Obama by a massive landslide.

Perhaps there is something to be said about the power of positive thinking after all.
