OK lets cut to the chase that geoducks are clearly the most phallic animals in the World as the gallery more than proves ten times over. Even if you inexplicably can not see this connection there is no getting away from it that geoducks look freaky - they also have no hint on geology or duck in them.

Found mostly around Pacific Coast of the US and Canada, and in Japan they also to serve as inspiration for “manga” of certain tentacled variety. Writer James Gunn has also stated that the geoduck was an inspiration for the slug-like alien parasites in his 2006 horror/comedy Slither. Best random fact of all is that the Geoduck (for reasons no one understands) is an official mascot for the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Rather brilliantly it also has a VERY appropriate motto: “Let It All Hang Out”

They are also BIG - up to two meters in length. Classified by biologists as;

a large saltwater clam, a bivalve mollusk with a huge "neck", or a "siphon". (darkroastedblend)
