Peacocks have been a heavy influence for a wide range of fashion designers this season who sought inspiration from the brilliant blues, turquoises, greens and purples of the arrogant birds.

Fashion has been inspired by nature since the days the first humans donned animal furs and headdresses, and no wonder when there are creatures roaming this earth with tail feathers as extravagant as those of peacocks.

If that’s a bit image too eccentric for you, however, you can still emulate the majestic birds by incorporating their jewel toned hues in your wardrobe.
