How appropriate is it that the Paul Smith Fall 2014 Collection features music note prints just in time for the Grammy's? This collection paves way for next fall with woolly fabrics and eccentric prints in hopes to keep spirits up through the cold weather approaching.

Smith apparently has dedicated the clothes to Jim Morrison, the musician and the man, for a bohemian outing that marries loungy separates with carpet textiles and motifs of musical notes or exotic animalia. Music and fashion is an interesting pairing, although it should be an obvious one since runway shows and shopping are typically paired with upbeat rhythms and ballads to pump up the heart’s strings.

Aside from musical numbers, the collection is warm with a palette of terracotta red, dusty pink velvet and tan leather.
