Christina Louboutin wooed the fashion world with his now infamous red-soled high heeled shoes. He turned the once dull, overlooked portion of the shoe into a status statement.
Now Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci is moving in and taking the accented shoe sole trend to the next level.
These Emilio Pucci above-the-ankle high heel booties are an adorable example. The soles are patterned in a signature Pucci pattern, while the rest of the shoe is fairly conservative. When all elements are combined, it’s one covetable shoe and perhaps the inspiration for a new footwear trend.
