The porcelain cows come in an array of funky patterns like hearts and vibrant colours like cobalt blue, but for those who prefer something slightly less tacky, there are also companies who make all-white cows.

They come in several shapes, but the most common is of a cow standing on all fours with an open back (to pour in the cream of milk) and posing like he is mooing, turning the tiny hole that simulates his mouth into the creamer’s spout.
