Year after year, artist and designer Diana Beltran Herrera's paper creations continue to astound her audience. Her near perfectly accurate reproductions of paper birds are breathtaking and equally curious to the eye, having become so popular that they've been used in professional branding.

Originally from Colombia, Herrera studied in Bogota before spending time in Findland to study ceramic sculpture. She is now currently working on an M.A. in fine art at UWE Bristol and creates paper birds in her spare time. She most recently spoke at Pictoplasma in Berlin and had work at Centrespace in Bristol.

Her sculptures are incredibly delicate and so realistic that they could easily be mistaken for live photographs. She captures birds in mid-flight and perched on a stand.
