The PanHandler Concept Becomes a Bowl at the Touch of a Button

By: Michael Hines - Published: • References: syproductdesign & tuvie
Scott Young's PanHandler concept is a combination skillet and bowl designed chiefly for convenience. Young's concept is essentially a skillet with a detachable handle. The PanHandler can handle temps as high as 750 degrees Fahrenheit and is made out of nano ceramic material and eco-friendly Silicone. The idea behind the design is that going from the stove to the dinner table should be as effortless as possible.

Some people, college students especially, prefer to do their cooking using a microwave. Young took this into consideration when designing the PanHandler concept. The skillet is microwave-safe, something that should help it appeal to those whose best recipes are Ramen and PB&J. Here's hoping that Young or some cookware company decides to bring the PanHandler into production, if only to throw a bone to those who still do dishes by hand.
