Japanese Illustrator 'Satsuma' Doesn't Create Typical Owl Illustrations

What you wouldn't expect from your standard owl illustration is an actual owl taking part in its making. A Northern White-Faced owl assists Japanese illustrator Satsuma while he works with the cutest owl ever perched on his hand.

The clip is humorous on its own, but it's especially fascinating to see the stabilization the bird's head and eyes while he works, not to mention the artist's technical control of the pen with or without the extra weight.

It's fascinating and entertaining to watch, but I just can't get over the cuteness of that owl. Whether or not the illustration would go a little different had he been drawing a paper and not a tablet is debatable, but either way, still quite a feat.
