Toyota 'Outsmart Shout Out' Campaign Creates a Pop Video for Fans

In promotion of the Toyota Yaris, automaker Toyota has launched a campaign called 'Outsmart Shout Out.' The campaign involves creating a pop music video for the car brand's fans that will feature a "shout out" rap written and performed for them, says Popsop.

Fans must visit Toytoa's Facebook fan page and answer the question, "What has life thrown at you today?" They can also answer the question on Twitter using the hashtag #OutsmartLIVE. Then, Toyota's marketing stars 'Gadget' (a rapper) and his puppet sidekick 'Slick' will transform the best answers into a music video. Recently, these two Toyota Yaris mascots appeared in a hit commercial called 'Gadget Guy.'
