MP3 Song Dedications - Free Personalized Outshouts

Admit it, receiving a song dedication can give you the warm fuzzies. Fancy sending one to that special someone, cheesiness be damned?
Outshouts, a website based out of Palo Alto, California, allows you to create mashups of songs that live in your computer and a personalized voice message, that you can then email to your friends, or send to their mobile phones. The message service is free, and you don’t need any fancy downloads. The process is surprisingly easy, and I just love how the sound of a heartfelt message further heightens the emotional impact of a favorite track.
In what the company calls "micro-blogging," the idea is that the tracks can include your unique commentary to then outsource on a user's own blog, or social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. "Outshouts is a fun and simple way to send messages to friends with the added emotive weight of music," says founder Michelle Soleau, "making it both highly personal and unique to both the sender and the receiver."
