Hyatt Promotes Kindness by Having Employees Open Doors for People

On October 8th, Hyatt sent out 46 employees across the globe to open doors for people. The campaign reinforces the message that 'In a Hyatt World,' nothing stands in your way — not even a door. While this is a courtesy that is generally performed by a doorman in front of a building, Hyatt's employees performed these small gestures of kindness everywhere.

While the employees held open doors for people, there were nearby signs that framed these kindnesses like picturesque moments, complete with a hashtag.

Since these kinds of stunts will definitely get noticed by people on the streets, this is a clever way to preemptively take advantage of photo ops that no doubt will occur. Photos of people posing with the photo frames can be seen on the 'In a Hyatt World' Tumblr blog. Stats for Hospitable Door-Opening Stunts Trending: Older & Average
