'Only 1°C Change Can Affect Us' Cups[Edit]

In an invitation to ‘throw away the throwaway cups’, the ‘Only 1°C Change Can Affect Us’ artistic initiative raises awareness about global warming with its permanent cup series by designer Mina Kwag. The eco-friendly ceramic cups feature little sculptures at the bottom of the cups and thought-provoking message that invite you to think how the world would be when the animals you love are extinct, when we can’t find the meat we like to eat or when the Amazon forests we dream to travel to are no more. Replacing the habit of using disposable cups with a permanent one might not seem like a big deal, but all those small changes to our lifestyle do help minimize the catastrophic effects of global warming.
