Trend Hunter got to sit down with Canadian rap legend Kardinal Offishall to talk about the ONEXONE Million Meals Movement. With a goal of packaging and distributing a million meals to the hungry and underprivileged, Kardinall will be performing with other Canadian artists like Alyssa Reid and Simple Plan to bring awareness to the hunger problem in Canada and around the world.
Charity can be infectious when done the right way. Making a genuine connection is a start; aligning yourself with the best and brightest of the country is where the magic happens. Besides being a Canadian hip-hop maven and Canadian icon, Kardinall is also a philanthropist who understands that to get the point across, you have to "make giving back sexy."
The event will take place on May 23rd at the Sony Center and will bring together celebrity and citizen alike for an amazing cause.
