What happens when an interior designer shifts her focus to handbags? In this case, you get a variety of hip, eclectic purses which exhibit a unique sense of style that you’re unlikely to find in a mall. The designer, Perla Lichi, has a couple dozen one-of-a-kind handbags to choose from, each selling for $295.  Perla Lichi Design, a full service interior design company located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was founded by Perla Lichi in 1990. Perla is a native of Mexico City. Her family relocated to South Florida when Perla was in her early teens. With a family in the jewelry business, Perla knew from an early age that she would be involved somehow in the world of design. A top winning entry in a design competition led to a full scholarship at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She immediately knew she was on the right career path and after four years earned her degree in interior design. After working on staff for several design firms, Perla founded her own company and the rest, as they say, is history. Click for more information about Perla.
