Olympus has announced that they will remove a huge amount of plastic from their packaging. Plastic is one of the most seriously detrimental environmental problems, and finding alternatives for it is difficult. Olympus is setting the bar much higher by announcing that the optics and imaging company will remove 70 percent of its plastics from audio products and 80 percent from xD Picture Cards.
